After a company decides to incorporate the accelerator, it needs to carry out several tasks to ensure that it gains the most value from the accelerator.
What follows are the critical steps, undocumented tips, and lessons learned from multiple successful customer implementations of the SAP NetWeaver BW Accelerator. We focus on the critical steps and lessons learned during the accelerator go-live and post-go-live support phases. We provide BI practitioners and project managers with hands-on advice to ensure a smooth go-live and optimal support of the accelerator.
This article applies to SAP NetWeaver BW (release 7.0 and later) and SAP NetWeaver BW Accelerator (revision 49 and later). It assumes that you are already familiar with all fundamental concepts of SAP NetWeaver BW and the accelerator. Detailed technical instruction related to the accelerator installation and SAP BusinessObjects Explorer is outside the scope of this article.
